- Introduced the Roman Republic through group work on the Roman Republic activity/homework (some of you over-achievers even got started on the Roman Military homework that's not due until next week).
- Journal entry: What is an Empire?
- Read the journal article, "Is America an Empire?" and had a marvelous discussion/debate on the issue.
- Introduced the Tic Tac Toe Choice Project & handed out grids (scoring guides on the back).
- You were challenged to watch the news tonight while keeping the question of the day in mind: is America an Empire?
Slightly different homework than is posted on the collective IHS Global History Site, as discussed in class.
